Steven Hinkle

Steven Hinkle, E.I. has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Steven started their professional career at Buhler Aeroglide as an IT Intern in 2010, where they gained experience in information technology. Steven later worked as a Film Production Intern and a Process Engineering Intern at Buhler Aeroglide. In 2013, Steven joined Breathingspace Institute as an Administrative Assistant and also worked as a Sports Camp Counselor at Netsports during the same time. In 2015, they started working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at North Carolina State University, gaining research experience. Steven also interned as a Corporate Technology Food Science Intern at Buhler. In 2016, Steven became a Project Team Leader at Touchstone 3D. Currently, they work at SCHUNK USA, where they started as a Design Engineer in 2018 and was promoted to the position of Team Lead - Design Engineering in 2022. In their current role, Steven is responsible for designing engineered to order special products for customer-specific applications and utilizing hydraulic expansion technology for special workholding applications. Steven also performs product verification and validates new concepts and opportunities with FEA.

Steven Hinkle, E.I. attended Middle Creek High School from 2008 to 2012. Steven then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University from 2012 to 2016.
