Felipe Félix Méndez

Felipe Félix Méndez is a Schwarzman Scholar currently engaged in research focused on international higher education partnerships. Previously, Méndez served as the Assistant Director and Program Assistant at the Atlantic Council's Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center, where responsibilities included conducting research and coordinating working groups on Latin America-Caribbean-U.S.-Europe partnerships. Notably, Méndez led a high-level conference at the 77th United Nations General Assembly addressing the war in Ukraine's impact on Latin America and the Caribbean. Other experiences include advising The Wall Street Journal on engaging young audiences, interning at the United Nations, and contributing to political journalism through various roles. Méndez holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in International and Public Affairs from Brown University and is pursuing a Master of Management Sciences in Global Affairs at both Schwarzman Scholars and Tsinghua University.
