Michel Degen

Michel Degen, CFA has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Michel is currently serving as the CFO / CRO at Schwyzer Kantonalbank since January 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles at BLKB from January 2011 to October 2021, including Chief Risk Officer (CRO) / Stv. CFO, Stv. CFO, and Head of Risk Office/Treasury. Michel was also a Board Member at radicant from April 2021 to August 2021. Michel began their career as a Kundenberater at Creditreform Egeli Basel from March 1998 to August 2002.

Michel Degen, CFA, began their education journey in 1997 at the University of Basel, where they pursued a degree in lic.rer.pol. Michel attended this institution until 2002. In 2005, they enrolled in the CFA Institute, where they obtained a degree in CFA, completing the program in 2008. In 2016, Michel attended INSEAD for a short period of time, participating in the Advanced International Corporate Finance Program. Most recently, from 2020 to 2021, they attended the ZHAW School of Management and Law, completing a CAS Financial Bank Management program.
