Matthew Jenks

Matthew Jenks has had a varied work experience over the past nine years. In 2021, they began working as a Software Engineer at SciAps Inc., and prior to that they held the role of Software Engineer Intern. From 2015 to 2021, they were employed at Henkel, first as a Chemical Operator Level 3, and then as a Chemical Operator. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at CoWorx Staffing Services / Henkel Loctite in a variety of roles, including Temporary Chemical Operator, Temporary Product Development Lab Technician, and Temporary Chemical Handler. In the latter role, they were responsible for filling empty tubes with glue to fit customers orders, which required him to read order forms, replace drums in a drum press or refill pots on machines, and maintain a high level of cleanliness and quality. In the former role, they worked closely with chemists and other lab technicians to develop glue to customer specifications, and they had to deal with potentially unsafe chemicals safely, keep detailed notes, accurately and efficiently test everything they made, and analyze and report on data.

Matthew Jenks obtained an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Manchester Community College between 2018 and 2020. Matthew then continued their education at Southern New Hampshire University, where they are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
