Anna Hooper

Anna Hooper has a diverse work experience in finance and management roles. Anna is currently the Chief Financial Officer at SciDev Limited since December 2021. Before this, they worked as the General Manager Finance Projects at ASX from July 2021 to October 2021. Anna also served as the Head of Commercial Finance and Capital Governance at Endeavour Energy (NSW) from December 2018 to March 2020. Prior to that, they were the Chief Financial Officer at Wesfarmers Industrial and Safety from April 2017 to May 2018. Anna Hooper has also worked as a Project Manager at allnex (formerly Nuplex) from April 2015 to April 2017. Anna gained valuable experience in finance transformation and projects during their time at Qantas, where they held various roles such as Head of Finance Transformation from February 2013 to April 2014, Head of Finance Projects from May 2007 to February 2011, and General Manager Segmentation from May 2006 to December 2006. Anna was also involved in financial control, accounting development, and internal audit as the General Manager Financial Control from October 2003 to April 2006, Manager Finance and Accounting Development from November 2002 to September 2003, and Manager Internal Audit from April 2002 to October 2002. Anna started their career at Arthur Andersen & Co. as a Senior Audit Associate from September 1994 to August 1998, and later became a Senior Audit Manager from September 1998 to August 2001.

Anna Hooper obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of Oxford between 1991 and 1994. Following that, they pursued a Chartered Accountant degree from ICAEW between 1994 and 1997. In February 2021, Anna Hooper also received certification as a Mental Health First Aider from Mental Health First Aid Australia.
