Brenda Isabel Nava

Brenda Isabel Nava is an experienced professional in the field of chemistry and biomedical engineering, currently serving as an Event Steward at Science Care since October 2018. Brenda has worked at Florida Atlantic University since January 2015 in multiple roles, including General Chemistry Lab Teaching Assistant, where responsibilities included preparing and delivering pre-lab tutorials, supervising laboratory sessions, grading reports, and enforcing safety regulations. In addition, Brenda held the position of General Chemistry Lab Prep TA, focusing on chemical preparation, and served as a Chemistry BONDing Leader, providing lectures and guidance to enhance student understanding of chemistry concepts. Brenda gained early experience as a Student Science Training Program Counselor at the University of Florida in 2017. Brenda holds a Master of Science in Bioengineering/Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Florida Atlantic University.
