Diane Eklund

Diane Eklund serves as the Medical Director at Science Care since February 2017, contributing to the organization's commitment to excellence in human tissue donation for medical research and education. Additionally, Diane holds the position of Clinic/Center Physician at BIOLIFE PLASMA SERVICES and Medical Director at Gila River Health Care, focusing on culturally sensitive healthcare for the Gila River Indian Community. Previously held roles include Medical Director at Pharos Diagnostics and at various blood banks, culminating in experience as Chief Medical Officer at San Diego Blood Bank and VP of Medical Affairs at LifeStream Blood Center. Diane Eklund earned both Doctor of Medicine degrees in Medicine and Pathology from the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson.
