Olivia Hosie

Oral History Archivist at Science History Institute

Olivia Hosie is an Oral History Archivist at the Science History Institute, where responsibilities include processing oral history interviews for inclusion in collections and assisting researchers with accessing restricted materials. Previously, Olivia served as the Robert H. Socolow Processing Archivist, creating a finding aid and extensively utilizing ArchivesSpace. Before joining the Science History Institute, Olivia was the Visitor Services Manager at The Rosenbach Museum and Library, overseeing a team and conducting guided tours, while also processing the George R. Collection. Additional experience includes an Archives Internship at the Catholic Historical Research Center, where Olivia created an EAD finding aid for a significant collection, and an internship at the Free Library of Philadelphia, processing the Philadelphiana Collection. Olivia holds a Master of Library & Information Science from PennWest Clarion and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Temple University.
