Tara Simmons

Tara Simmons has a long and varied career in the field of development and sales. Tara began their career in 2005 as a Sales Manager for OKCBusiness. In 2008, they moved to Robyn Promotions as a Senior Sales Executive. In 2009, they became the Oklahoma Territory Manager for Giftcraft. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as the Web Goddess and Advertising/Marketing Princess for Ladybugs and Lizards. From 2013 to 2016, they were a LTC Specialist for Genworth Financial. Lastly, from 2016 to 2022, they held multiple roles at the University of Central Oklahoma, including Major Gifts Officer, Manager Development, and Director of Development. Currently, they are the Vice President of Development for Science Museum Oklahoma.

Tara Simmons attended the University of Central Oklahoma, graduating in 2002.
