Aina Abell

Aina Abell is an experienced editorial professional with a strong background in science communication and editorial support. Currently serving as an Editorial Assistant at Science News Magazine since October 2020, Aina manages the Reviews and Feedback columns, oversees magazine production, and contributes to digital product facilitation and web production using WordPress CMS. Prior to this role, Aina worked as an Assistant Editor for the American Pharmacists Association, where responsibilities included writing, editing, and producing content for Pharmacy Today magazine and the Focus newsletter. Aina's diverse experience also includes teaching English in France, interning in science communications with the American Heart Association, and participating in various fellowship programs. Aina holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Southern California.
