Milena Simovic

Milena Simovic is a Postdoctoral Scientist at DKFZ German Cancer Research Center, where responsibilities include detecting genome instability in liquid biopsies for early cancer detection and therapy monitoring, alongside cross-team collaboration with a local hospital. Previous experience as a Doctoral Student involved establishing patient-derived xenograft mouse models and preclinical testing of DNA repair pathway inhibitors. Milena holds a PhD from Heidelberg University, a Master's degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Università di Pavia, and a Bachelor of Science in Genetics from Queen Mary University of London.
