Usman Farooq

Usman Farooq is a qualified Physiotherapist with extensive experience in assessing and treating musculoskeletal disorders, sports injuries, and various rehabilitation programs. Currently serving as a Physiotherapist in Auckland since August 2024, Usman also contributes as a Journal Reviewer for the Science Publishing Group since December 2020. Previous roles include working at the Peshawar Institute of Cardiology - MTI, managing patients with MSK conditions and overseeing cardiac rehabilitation, and serving as a Lecturer/Clinical Physical Therapist at Northwest General Hospital, where Usman educated undergraduate physiotherapy students. Usman's foundational training includes experiences as a PG Resident at the National Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine and as a Teaching Assistant at Rehman Medical Institute, alongside an internship focusing on spinal cord injuries. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Physical Therapy with a specialization in Neuromuscular Rehabilitation and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.
