Jens Atzrodt

Jens Atzrodt is an experienced professional with a career at Sanofi since May 2000, currently serving as Operations Director and Head of Hub Management Office for R&D in Germany. In this role, Jens oversees the local execution of global R&D strategies, develops strategic roadmaps, and manages critical transformation programs. Previous positions at Sanofi include Section Head of Isotope Science and Chemical Biology, where Jens focused on enhancing research capabilities, and DMPK project lead, contributing to several strategic initiatives and securing significant external funding. Jens has also held leadership positions in isotope chemistry and metabolite synthesis, supported the establishment of new modalities, and managed the Global Radiosynthesis Center. Alongside this role, Jens is the Managing Director of Science4Life e.V., leading Germany's largest annual business plan competition in collaboration with the State Government of Hesse. Jens holds a degree from Friedrich Schiller University Jena, obtained from 1990 to 1999.
