Eric Derose

Eric DeRose has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Eric currently works as the Director of Product Management at ScienceLogic, where they lead the Platform Services Group and oversees innovation in the SL1 deployment and operations platform. Prior to this, Eric held roles such as Principal Product Manager and Senior Product Manager at ScienceLogic.

Before joining ScienceLogic, Eric was an entrepreneur and owner of Real Buzz Media, Inc., where they led a team in delivering ecommerce and digital media services. During their time there, they developed ecommerce SaaS apps for B2B workflow automation and managed a multi-million dollar automated provisioning platform.

Eric also has extensive experience at Verizon Enterprise Solutions, where they held positions such as Sr. Product Manager of Digital Transformation Services, Senior Marketing Manager of IT Solutions, and Product Marketing Manager for Verizon Cloud. In these roles, they led product marketing strategies and campaigns to drive revenue growth for enterprise customers.

Earlier in their career, Eric worked at Verizon as a Senior Product Manager for the Verizon Enterprise Center application team. Eric played a crucial role in contributing to the annual product line of Verizon Enterprise Solutions.

Before entering the technology industry, Eric worked as an Airline Pilot and Flight Instructor at Independence Air and Atlantic Coast Airlines. Eric flew high-performance transport category aircraft, logged numerous flight hours, and served as a line check airman and instructor for new hire pilots.

Eric's work experience also includes a role as a Product Manager at MCI, where they were responsible for defining product requirements, developing business plans, and managing the product development lifecycle. Eric also worked as an Account Executive at MCI earlier in their career.

Eric DeRose holds a BA degree in Business from Virginia Wesleyan University. Eric also has additional certifications including an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP), a BAe-4100 Jetstream Type Rating, and a CL-65 Type Rating (CRJ) from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
