Fabio Pacucci

Fabio Pacucci is an accomplished astrophysicist and science writer with extensive experience in both research and education. Currently serving as a Science Writer at Scientific American and an Astrophysicist at Harvard University since 2019, Fabio specializes in the investigation of the hidden population of black holes across space and time. Additionally, as an educator at TED-Ed since 2017, Fabio develops animated lessons on various scientific topics and advises on other subject areas. Prior experience includes a theoretical astrophysicist role at Yale University, focusing on the properties and evolution of the first black holes formed in the universe, and participation in outreach activities with the Union of Italian Amateur Astronomers. Fabio holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Scuola Normale Superiore and has a strong foundation in astronomy and astrophysics from Sapienza Università di Roma.
