Alex Arjad is an accomplished Experimental Physicist at Scientific Applications & Research Associates, Inc. since June 2019. Prior to this role, Alex served as a Senior Data Scientist at Voxx Analytics from February 2015 to June 2019. Alex's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California, Riverside, obtained between 2004 and 2013, where involvement as a Graduate Student Researcher focused on the electronic and morphological properties of metal-on-oxide surfaces utilizing advanced spectroscopic techniques. Earlier experiences include engineering internships at Boeing and SARA, where Alex developed data analysis and acquisition software in Matlab and LabView, respectively. A Bachelor of Science in Physics was earned from UC Irvine from 2000 to 2004.
