Niel Lewis

Niel Lewis is a Mechanical Engineer with a diverse background in engineering roles across various industries. Currently employed at Scientific Applications & Research Associates, Niel has experience as a CAD Design Engineer at Ford Motor Company, focusing on hybrid and electric vehicle layout, including the electric F-150 and hybrid versions of the Bronco, Ranger, and Transit. Niel's earlier roles include Aerospace Development Engineer at Voss, LLC, where efforts were directed towards drone aircraft technologies, and Research and Development Engineer at MOUNTech, contributing to innovative camera mounts for action sports. Niel also served as a Teaching Assistant under Professor Lewalle at Syracuse University and led design teams for remote-controlled aircraft at Design Build Fly. Niel holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Syracuse University.
