Shuwen Chiu

Shuwen Chiu is a highly experienced Staff Software Engineer with a career spanning over two decades in various prestigious companies. Currently at Scientific Atlanta since 2005, Shuwen focuses on porting MS-TV to CE 5.0 for the SetTop Platform. Prior to this role, Shuwen worked at Symbol Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer, participating in the evaluation process and porting of Wireless LAN drivers. Earlier experience includes a Principal Engineer position at Parthus Technologies, where WinCE 3.0 board support was developed, and serving as Software Technical Lead at Philips Semiconductor, overseeing a team in device driver development for embedded systems. Additional roles include significant contributions at National Semiconductor in infrared device driver development and past roles at Philips Semiconductors and Olivetti ATC focused on graphics and video server technologies. Shuwen holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
