Joe Egbert is a Research Engineer Level 2 at Scientific Systems, with experience since April 2008 in designing and demonstrating real-time software for cooperative autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) using C++ and Matlab Stateflow, collaborating with over 20 engineers from various teams. Prior to this role, Joe served as a Research Assistant at BYU MAGICC Lab from May 2005 to December 2007, where innovative solutions were developed for real-time visual guidance in small autonomous aerial vehicles, specifically focusing on real-time computer vision algorithms for multiple coordinated UAVs. Joe holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Brigham Young University, completed between 1999 and 2007.
