Markus Nispel

Markus Nispel serves as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for EMEA at Extreme Networks, where responsibilities include leading a global team of data scientists and customer success architects in the development and adoption of machine learning and AI solutions within the ExtremeCloud Ecosystem. With extensive experience in technology leadership, Markus has held various senior roles, including Vice President for International Markets, Products, Software and Solutions Engineering, and Solutions Architecture and Innovation. Prior to joining Extreme Networks, Markus Nispel contributed to technology strategy and architecture at Enterasys Networks and held positions at Cabletron Systems, EPlus Mobilfunk GmbH, and Deutsche Telekom. Markus holds a Dipl Ing degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences. Currently, Markus is also an Advisory Board Member at SCION Association.
