Peter Thüring

Peter Thüring currently serves as a Member of the SCION Advisory Board at the SCION Association since January 2023. Since August 2017, Peter Thüring has held the position of Head IT at the Swiss National Bank, overseeing the IT Division and serving as a member of the Management Board for the III Department. Additionally, Peter Thüring was the Head of Banking Applications at the Swiss National Bank, where responsibilities included managing services related to banking transactions. Before this, Peter Thüring operated as the Chief Operating Officer and Head of the Service Centre in Zurich at Schroder & Co Bank AG Schweiz from June 2014 to June 2017, and held multiple leadership roles at Credit Suisse from April 2001 to May 2014, including Managing Director and Head of Production and Shared Testing Services in Front Office IT. Peter Thüring's educational background includes an Advanced Executive Program at SFI Swiss Finance Institute and a Mastering Technology Enterprises degree from IMD, complemented by certifications in information technology management and project leadership.
