Meint Helder

Meint Helder has extensive experience in education and policy, serving as Directeur at Basisschool De Horizon and Rembrandtschool Delft since January 2018. Prior to this role, Meint worked with the PvdA party from May 2009 to November 2017 as Hoofd beleid and Senior Beleidsmedewerker in the Tweede Kamer-fractie. Further political experience includes serving as Raadslid for Stadsdeel Oost, where Meint held the positions of Vice-fractievoorzitter and woordvoerder for Housing and Major Projects from 2006 to 2012. Meint's career in education began as a teacher at multiple schools, advancing to Director at St. Catharinaschool from 1997 to 2004. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Special Educational Needs from the University of Roehampton and foundational studies from Christelijke Hogeschool Nederland.
