Jason Blanchard

Jason Blanchard is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software development and team leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at Scoir, Inc. since November 2023, Jason previously held the position of Engineering Lead at Employee Cycle from June 2021 to November 2023. Notably, during a tenure at Instructure from November 2017 to June 2021, Jason managed multiple remote teams within the Site Reliability Engineering and Product divisions and played a key role on the engineering leadership team. Jason’s background includes significant contributions as a Senior Software Engineer and Front-End Lead at Practice, which was acquired by Instructure, and instructional roles at New York Code + Design Academy and Thinkful. Jason holds a B.A. in Visual Media Arts from Emerson College and an M.Ed. in Learning, Media, and Technology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
