Alan Palanker

Alan Palanker is an accomplished composer and music director with extensive experience in the smooth and contemporary jazz genres. Currently serving as a composer and keyboardist for Jazz Holdouts and Urban Gypsy, Alan has developed a strong catalog of original compositions. As a music director, Alan oversees performances for notable artists, including Melba Moore and John Davidson, while also directing large-scale shows with Dennis Lambert. Additionally, Alan's contributions as a composer and programmer at ScoreKeepers Music have enriched film and TV soundtracks. With a career spanning nearly six decades, Alan actively engages in various musical roles and holds degrees from the Manhattan School of Music and Berklee School of Music.
