Kevin Tanner

Kevin Tanner has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Kevin is currently working as a Front End Developer at Scorpion since January 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an iOS Developer at Stoke App from December 2020 to January 2021 and from September 2020 to November 2020.

In 2020, Kevin also worked as an iOS Developer on several projects independently. Kevin developed Simple CBT, an iOS app for analyzing thoughts and breaking bad habits, and Drizzle, an iOS weather app with custom illustrations. Kevin utilized Xcode, Swift, Interface Builder, and various other technologies for these projects.

Before their work with Stoke App, Kevin was an iOS Developer at DevMountain Student Developers from September 2019 to September 2020. Kevin contributed to the development of Anti Snooze, an alarm clock app with mini-games, and Zo, a social media app for encouragement. Kevin collaborated with a team in an agile work environment and used Xcode, Swift, CloudKit, and other tools for these projects.

Kevin's earlier experience includes working as an Advertising Strategist and Advertising Analyst at Scorpion Internet Marketing from 2015 to 2019. Kevin managed clients' digital advertising campaigns and generated leads through optimized PPC campaigns. Prior to that, they worked as an SEO Specialist at David A. Tanner, D.D.S., where they optimized search engine results and developed the company website.

In addition, Kevin has experience in the service industry as a Bartender at Wades Wines - Malibu Sundowner Tasting Room and Eagle Golf. Kevin provided recommendations, created a pleasant atmosphere, and delivered excellent customer service. Kevin also worked as a Campus Ministry Student Marketer at California Lutheran University, where they designed marketing posters, and as a Valet Attendant at Premiere Valet Company, providing customer service and organizing parking lots.

Kevin Tanner received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Multimedia from California Lutheran University, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. In 2012, they participated in the Semester At Sea / ISE program, although they did not obtain a degree during that time. In 2014, Kevin attended Bartending World and obtained a Mixologist degree in Bartending/Bartender. In 2019, they attended Devmountain and completed an iOS Immersive Bootcamp, focusing on iOS Development. Kevin has also obtained several certifications, including "Unit Testing in Swift," "Computer Science 101," and "Software Engineering 101" from Udemy. Kevin received an iOS Development certification from Devmountain and certifications in Google Adwords, California Food Handler, Alcohol ServSafe, and Certified Alcohol Awareness Training from various institutions.
