Brian O'Mara

Brian O'Mara is an experienced professional in downstream process development, currently serving as Senior Director at Scorpius Biomanufacturing, Inc. since June 2022. Prior to this role, O'Mara held the position of Director of Downstream Process Development at Ambrx from February 2019 to June 2022. O'Mara's extensive background in the industry includes nearly 13 years at Bristol-Myers Squibb as Senior Research Scientist II, focusing on downstream process development and characterization for clinical trials, particularly in the recovery, chromatography, and filtration of monoclonal antibodies and recombinant protein therapeutics.
