Richard Melin Jr

Richard Melin Jr is an experienced manager with over 15 years in Unified Communications, currently serving as the Director of Voice and Data Preservation at Scotiabank since March 2021. Prior to this role, Richard was the Director of Global Unified Communications Engineering at BlackRock from August 2005 to March 2021, where Richard led a team of 18 engineers in deploying large-scale initiatives such as TDM to SIP and internal process automation while providing digital workplace services to over 16,000 employees and managing significant annual and project budgets. Richard also has experience in managing a staff of 30 across various regions and focuses on streamlining operations to enhance the global operating model.
