Sean Sztern

Sean Sztern is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in equity options and derivatives. Since April 2021, Sean has served as the Managing Director and Head of Institutional Equity Options at Scotiabank. Prior to this role, Sean was the Managing Director of Global Equity Derivatives at National Bank Financial from January 2012 to April 2021. Sean's earlier career includes positions as an Equity Sales Trader at Brockhouse Cooper, Institutional Sales at Desjardins, and Equity Trader at Schonefeld, where Sean focused on North American equities and risk arbitrage strategies. Sean holds a degree from McGill University, obtained between 1994 and 1997.
