Mahesh Sharma M.p.a.

Mahesh Sharma, M.P.A., serves as the County Administrator for Scott County, Iowa, since July 2016, overseeing nine departments with over 200 employees in a community of approximately 30,000 residents. Previously, Mahesh held the position of City Administrator in Raytown, MO, where responsibilities included managing daily operations across multiple departments. Mahesh has extensive experience in public works, having served as the Director of Public Works in Saint Charles, MO, with oversight of 97 employees and a budget of $42 million, as well as similar roles in Raymore, MO, and Lenexa, KS. In addition to municipal roles, Mahesh held leadership positions at Mazuma Credit Union, including Chairman of the Board. Academically, Mahesh holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from The University of Kansas and a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
