Gill McNeill

Gill McNeill currently serves as the Chief People Officer for Scottish Enterprise, leading the People, Digital & Communications division since August 2023. Simultaneously, Gill is a Member of the Board of Trustees at Gem Workspaces Limited. Previously, Gill held the position of Head of People Services at Virgin Money UK PLC, contributing to a purpose-led digital transformation of the colleague experience until August 2023. With extensive HR leadership experience across various organizations including BAE Systems, Leidos, Lloyds Banking Group, and Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, Gill has a proven track record in HR change management and organizational effectiveness. Educational qualifications include an MBA and a BA Hons in Human Resources Management from the University of Strathclyde, along with a Fellowship from The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
