Ernest de Rijk

Ernest de Rijk is a Data Scientist at the Scottish Environment Protection Agency, a position held since August 2022. Prior experience includes a role as Technical Support Engineer at ChampionX from October 2021 to August 2022, and as a Research and Development Analytical Chemist at RAB-Microfluidics from March 2019 to October 2021. Ernest also served as a Laboratory Analyst at both OILFIELD CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY LIMITED (August 2018 to February 2019) and Intertek (January 2017 to July 2018). A previous position as a Graduate Analyst at Cabot Corporation (November 2015 to June 2016) involved research on the surface tension of formate brines as part of an honours project. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of York and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Forensic and Analytical Science from Robert Gordon University.
