Fiona Laird-Jarvie is a Project Manager and Access to Information Lead at the Scottish Environment Protection Agency, a position held since November 2019. Prior to this, Fiona took a career break to travel and teach English as a Second Language. From February 2017 to February 2019, Fiona worked as an Information Manager at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Previous roles include Information Management Officer - Records at the London Borough of Hackney, Assistant Records Manager at Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, and an Oral History Intern at The British Library. Fiona's early career featured experiences as a Graduate Trainee Archives Assistant at the University of Glasgow and as an Archives Intern at The British School at Athens. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Archives and Records Management from UCL, a CELTA certification from the British Council Krakow, a web development introduction from Code First Girls, and an MA(Hons) in Classics from the University of Glasgow.
