Fiona Whyte

Fiona Whyte is an experienced professional in environmental management, currently serving as the VIBES Awards 2024 Lead at the Scottish Environment Protection Agency since November 2008. In previous roles at SEPA, Fiona has contributed as a Specialist II in Innovation, fostering internal and external innovation, and in Advice & Engagement, ensuring coordinated advisory services. Fiona leads initiatives in Low Carbon and Environmental Innovation, promoting sustainability within Scotland's economic sectors. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Campaigns Officer at Waste Aware Scotland, where Fiona developed a resourceful business website, and earlier roles as a Junior Waste Consultant at Entec and a Junior Project Consultant at SLR Consulting. Fiona holds an MSc with distinction in Environmental Management from the University of Stirling and a BSc (Hons) in Animal Biology from the University of St Andrews.
