Craig Strachan's work experience includes serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Scotmid Co-operative since January 2023. Prior to this role, they co-founded The Start-Up Drinks Lab in 2017, where they offered a full suite of services for drinks businesses. In 2019, Craig co-founded The Alcoholic Water Company. From 2016 to 2022, they were the Founder and Managing Director of FOAL Drinks, a range of premium craft sodas. Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Craig worked as a Group Accountant/Franchise Accountant at Arnold Clark from 2014 to 2016. Craig also worked as a Tax Senior Associate at PwC from 2010 to 2014, where they managed corporation tax compliance for various clients. Additionally, Craig had a tax summer internship at PwC in 2009.
Craig Strachan's education history begins with their attendance at Carluke High School from 2000 to 2006. After graduating from high school, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Joint Honours degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of Strathclyde, graduating in 2010. Subsequently, from 2010 to 2013, Strachan attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland to become a Chartered Accountant.
