Sean Carson

Sean Carson is currently the Head of Operational Risk at The Scottish National Investment Bank since August 2023. Prior to this role, Sean held positions such as Head of Operational Risk - Prudential (Retail & Savings) at M&G plc, Operational Risk Manager at Sainsbury's Bank, and Operational Risk Consultant at Standard Life Aberdeen. With a background in accounting and finance, Sean has also completed certificates in Climate Risk, Financial Risk and Regulation, and Chartered Accountancy. Throughout his career, Sean has been involved in leading the development of operational risk frameworks, implementing risk reporting improvements, and coordinating audits for financial services clients.
