Gordon Downie

Gordon Downie is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology transformation, commercial strategy, and procurement within the public sector. Currently serving as Head of Technology Transformation and Head of Corporate Services Transformation at Police Scotland since October 2014, Gordon provides specialist strategic advice on commercial and procurement matters, developing comprehensive strategies to enhance efficiency and drive savings. Previous roles include Business Change Manager at the Scottish Police Authority, Consultant/Project Manager in an independent capacity, and leadership positions at the Scottish Rugby Union, Semple Cochrane PLC, Acumen Management, and Tramalin LTD. Gordon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Glasgow Caledonian University.
