Stuart Dinnen's work experience begins in 1997 when they joined Scottish Power as a Controls Team Member. Stuart then went on to work in various roles within the company, including User Acceptance Tester, UAT Test Team Lead, Business Development and Support Analyst, User Acceptance Test Team Lead, and User Acceptance Testing Defect Manager.
In 2000, Stuart joined Royal Bank of Scotland as a User Acceptance Test Engineer for a short period before returning to Scottish Power.
Stuart continued to advance in their career at Scottish Power, taking on roles such as IT Business Analyst, IT Senior Business Analyst, IT Team Lead, Business Relationship Manager, Senior Project Manager, and IT Programme Manager.
Since 2015, Stuart has been the IT Lead for the SAP Centre of Excellence at Scottish Power, overseeing the day-to-day operation of the production platform and ensuring smooth system performance and technical integration.
Currently, Stuart is the Head of Architecture & Technology, Centre of Excellence at Scottish Power, responsible for implementing new technologies and technical improvements across the SAP landscape, as well as managing transport and test environment management.
Stuart Dinnen attended the University of the West of Scotland from 2002 to 2009, where they studied Information Technology. Prior to that, they studied Psychology at Glasgow Caledonian University from 1993 to 1997. Additionally, they obtained various certifications, including Generative AI at SAP, Modernize Integration with SAP Integration Suite, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, RISE with SAP, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals.
