Michael Beardmore

Michael Beardmore has a diverse work experience. Michael is currently the Head Of Strategic Planning at the Scottish Prison Service since August 2022. From May 2019 to August 2022, they worked as the National Quality and Performance Lead at Children's Hearings Scotland. Prior to that, they held the positions of Strategic Development Lead at Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland from November 2016 to April 2019 and Retail Information Coordinator from July 2014 to May 2017. Michael also worked as an Enquries Assistant at the National Library of Scotland from April 2014 to January 2016.

Michael Beardmore completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics at The University of Manchester from 2006 to 2009. Michael then pursued a MLitt degree in Greek & Latin from the University of St Andrews from 2009 to 2010. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Classics/History of Science from the University of St Andrews from 2010 to 2013.
