Michael Lamont

Michael Lamont is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in the sports industry. Currently serving as the Communications Lead for High Performance at Scottish Rugby since January 2022, Michael has previously held various roles at the Scottish Football Association, including Media and Communications Officer, Media and Communications Executive, and Web Content Producer from August 2016 to December 2021. Prior experience includes working as a Communications Assistant at Glasgow Warriors and Club Journalist at Ayr United Football Club, as well as a Publications Writer for Glasgow 2014 Limited. Michael holds an Honours degree in Sports Journalism from the University of the West of Scotland, achieved between 2010 and 2014.
