Alan M Reed

Alan M Reed is an experienced aquatics professional currently serving as the Aquatics Development Manager at Scottish Swimming since August 2022. Reed also holds a trustee position at Bailliefields Community Hub since May 2020. Previous roles include Regional Swimming Development Manager for Scottish Swimming and Swimming Development Officer at Falkirk Community Trust, where efforts focused on leading swimming initiatives and creating pathways for swimming development. Additional experience includes swimming development roles in Falkirk Council and Taunton Deane Borough Council, along with teaching swimming at Swimming Nature. Alan M Reed holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Studies and Business Studies from the Roehampton Institute London, complemented by earlier education at Somerset College of Arts and Technology and Heathfield Community Comprehensive.
