Maria Nazarova-Doyle

Maria Nazarova-Doyle is the Head of Pension Investments at Scottish Widows. Maria has over fifteen years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on pension investments and employee benefits.

Maria started their career at JLT Employee Benefits, where they spent four years as the Head of DC Investment Consulting. In this role, they were responsible for developing JLT's DC proposition and advising a diverse portfolio of clients. Maria also acted as JLT's media spokesperson on DC matters, spoke at various industry events, and judged professional awards.

In 2015, Maria joined Mercer as a Principal and Market Engagement Leader for DC & Individual Wealth. In this role, they were responsible for leading, formulating and executing a market engagement strategy with the goal to increase Mercer's market share in DC consulting, financial planning and master trust areas. Maria also advised a portfolio of large DC investment clients.

Maria Nazarova-Doyle has a MSc in Strategic Planning and Investment from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, a BA in Interpreting and Translation Studies from Voronezh State University, a BSc in Global Economy from Voronezh State University, and certification from Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning in Lloyds Banking Group - the edge - Leadership in a Re-imagined World Programme 2021. Maria also has certification from the University of Edinburgh Business School in Climate Change Risk in Finance certificate, the CFA Institute in Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), CFA UK in Investment Management Certificate (IMC), and FCA in CF30.
