Ryan Ward

Ryan Ward is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as Grid & Regulation Manager at ScottishPower Renewables since January 2021, following a progression from Senior Grid Analyst and Grid Analyst. Prior to this role, Ryan worked as an Energy Consultant and Energy Analyst at Baringa Partners from October 2018 to January 2021, and as an Associate at EY from September 2017 to September 2018. Ryan's career began in the Royal Navy as an Honorary Midshipman from August 2012 to May 2017, with an interim experience at ScottishPower in June 2015 during an Engineering Excellence Scholarship. Educational qualifications include an Engineering Degree in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering with International Study from the University of Strathclyde and an Engineer’s Degree from Louisiana State University, complemented by a Test of Competence in Accounting from ICAS.
