Lucy Ruthnum is currently a supporter on the digital marketing team at Scotty's Little Soldiers. Lucy has previously worked as a content manager for Savings United GmbH, where they helped launch the UK white label affiliate marketing projects with newspaper titles including The Telegraph, The Independent and The Evening Standard. Ruthnum was a key member of the team between launching and becoming market leaders, and also managed a team of freelancers. Her focus was on SEO, utilising SEO tools and programmes, web content creation and helping to interview and train members of staff.
Ruthnum has also worked as a freelance journalist for Iliffe News & Media Ltd, where they consulted with two Norfolk-based businesses to develop their hiring processes and located the right staff for creative and digital roles including graphic designers, social media managers and website managers.
Previously, Ruthnum was the editor for THIS FESTIVAL FEELING LTD from September 2013 to September 2015.
Lucy Ruthnum has a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Hertfordshire. Lucy is certified in TEFL UK's 120 Hour Professional TEFL Certification, Google's Advanced Google Analytics, and Google Analytics for Beginners. Lucy is also a Certified Champion of Mental Health from Champion Health Ltd. and has completed the 7 day Instagram Challenge from The Institute of Code. In addition, they have taken courses on The Science of Wellbeing from Yale University and 17 Questions to Help Improve Your Marketing and Social Media Marketing Tips (2019) from LinkedIn. Finally, they have SEMrush certifications in SEMrush Content Marketing Toolkit Exam, SEMrush SEO Toolkit Exam, and SEMrush Social Media Toolkit Exam.
