Monica McQueen

Monica McQueen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Monica is currently working as a Senior Events & Community Manager at Virtuous since August 2021. Prior to this, Monica worked at Scout & Cellar as a Director & Clean-Crafted Wine Marketer starting from May 2019.

In 2017, Monica joined Nextiva as an Events Manager, where they were responsible for managing various aspects of branding, marketing, logistics, and operations for an annual partner and user conference, as well as organizing large internal events and parties. Monica collaborated with different teams to create targeted marketing plans and drive attendance. Monica's tenure with Nextiva lasted until March 2020.

Before Nextiva, Monica worked at the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP) as a Conference & Meeting Planner from May 2014 to April 2017. During this time, they handled the planning and execution of conferences and meetings.

Between 2004 and 2016, Monica was an entrepreneur and owner of Très Chic Weddings & Events, a premier event planning boutique. Monica'srole involved providing event consultation, managing associate planners and interns, and executing high-end weddings, corporate, social, and charitable functions. Monica'swork was acknowledged by local and national blogs and magazines.

Beginning their career in 1997, Monica worked at Cramer-Krasselt as an Account Supervisor. During their tenure, they received multiple promotions and supervised various teams to manage advertising, marketing, events, and promotions for assigned accounts. Monica also played a role in new business development efforts and presentations.

Monica's work experience began with an advertising internship at Salt River Project in 1996.
