Kayleigh Kanoza has a diverse work experience, starting in 2008 as a Member's Assistant in the Office of Ed Komarnicki, MP. Kayleigh then worked as an Assistant in the Stakeholder Relations Group in the Office of the Prime Minister in 2009. From 2010 to 2014, Kayleigh served as the Communications & National Caucus Coordinator in the Office of the National Caucus Chair, where they developed positive relations with government officials and implemented external communication strategies. Kayleigh then moved on to the Office of the Minister of Veterans Affairs in 2014, serving as a Communications Advisor and responsible for garnering positive media attention through strategic communication plans. From 2016 to 2017, Kayleigh worked as a Communications Advisor in the Office of the Leader of Their Majesty's Official Opposition before joining Scouts Canada in 2017. At Scouts Canada, they held various director positions including Director - Marketing & Communications, Director, Organizational Planning, and currently holds the role of Director, Change & Strategy. In their role at Scouts Canada, Kayleigh led successful marketing campaigns and aimed to raise awareness of the skills youth gain in Scouting through outdoor adventures and fun.
Kayleigh Kanoza completed their Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree in Political Science from Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne, attending from 2004 to 2008.
Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including "Foundations of Change Course Completion," "Engaging Stakeholders to Spark a Movement Course Completion," and "Selling Your Case for Change Course Completion" from Kotter. The certifications were obtained in November 2022 and February 2023.
