Matthew Goodwin

Matthew Goodwin's work experience includes a variety of roles in the medical affairs field. Matthew started their career as a Post-doctoral Fellow at Cubist Pharmaceuticals from July 2009 to June 2011. Matthew then worked at Optimer Pharmaceuticals as a Manager of Medical Affairs from June 2011 to May 2012, and later as a Medical Education and Research Liaison from May 2012 to May 2013. From June 2013 to June 2015, Matthew served as a Medical Science Liaison at Salix Pharmaceuticals. Matthew then moved to Chiasma in 2016 as a Medical Science Liaison. Matthew joined Chimerix, Inc. in July 2015 as a Medical Science Liaison before taking on the role of Director of Medical Affairs at Arsanis from January 2018 to April 2020. Matthew is currently working at scPharmaceuticals, first as Senior Director of Medical Affairs from April 2020 to February 2021 and then as Vice President of Medical Affairs from February 2021 to the present. Throughout their career, Matthew has built a strong background in medical affairs and brings valuable expertise to their current position.

Matthew Goodwin attended Drake University from 2002 to 2009. During this time, they pursued a dual degree in Pharmacy and Business, earning a PharmD and an MBA.
