Kun Yu

Kun Yu is a highly experienced professional in chemical and process engineering, currently serving as a Senior Process Engineer at SCREEN SPE USA since October 2023. Prior experience includes significant roles at GlobalFoundries as Principal Engineer and Senior Engineer in Process Engineering, where substantial contributions were made to semiconductor manufacturing processes to enhance yield and performance. As a Review Editor for Carbon Capture, Storage, and Utilization at Frontiers in Energy Research, Kun Yu has contributed to advancing knowledge in the field. Academic experience as a Principal Investigator at the University at Buffalo involved leading research projects and mentoring students, while earlier research assistant roles included pioneering advancements in carbon dioxide capture technologies and developing sustainable solvents. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering from Zhejiang University.
