Ellie Calnan

Ellie Calnan is a reporter currently working at Screen International since May 2022, previously holding the role of Digital Content Assistant/Reporter. Prior experience includes internships at the Evening Standard, Screen International, Reach plc, and the PPA, where Ellie reported on the PPA Independent Publisher Awards. Additional roles include Box Office Assistant at the British Film Institute (BFI) and Administrative Assistant at Highbury Fields School. Ellie also has experience as a Special Education Assistant at Mossbourne Community Academy and Front Of House at the English National Opera. Academically, Ellie holds a Master's degree in Magazine Journalism from City, University of London, and a Bachelor of Arts in Drama from Queen Mary University of London.
