Amanda Mok has over 10 years of experience in the field of research. Amanda began their career in 2011 as a Research Associate at Xavier Lab, Broad Institute. In 2014, they became a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley's Genetic Epidemiology and Genomics Lab. In 2019, they moved to the Lareau Lab at the University of California, Berkeley. Most recently, in 2022, they began working as a Scientist in Computational Biology at Scribe Therapeutics.
Amanda Mok graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2011 with a SB in Biological Engineering and Music. Amanda then attended University of California, Berkeley, where they obtained a Master of Public Health - MPH in Epidemiology/Biostatistics in 2016, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computational Biology in 2021.
