Shalini Shyam Kumar

Shalini Shyam Kumar is currently serving as the SoCal Youth Leader at Pratham USA since November 2023, following various leadership roles at Scripps College, including Co-Head of the Asian American Students Union (AASU) and member of the Programming Committee for Scripps Psi Chi. Shalini has demonstrated strong organizational skills and a commitment to community building through the planning of events, mentorship of international students, and successful recruitment efforts. Previous internships include User Experience Research at BAYADA Home Health Care, Human Resources at MAC-UK, and support roles at Dubai Holding and Reading Partners, showcasing a diverse skill set in research, human resources, and tutoring. As a student at Scripps College pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Shalini's educational background includes notable institutions such as Boston University and North London Collegiate School Dubai.
